Dead Hand Control: n. A soviet cold-war era fail-deadly control system for nuclear missiles, where when one missile was launched, it activated all other missiles in the fleet.

Synopsis:
Runners seeing the world. Living in the Barrens. Criming in the shadows. The team over the course of a year gets pulled into two plots. First some ancient elves are embroiled first in a duel of sorts, but then in an ongoing effort to collect Relics from past ages. Though an agent of the elves named Jane, the party undertake and succeed at these missions. The second is involving a nuclear warehead and ultimately a missile. The bad guys are group of four toxic shaman known as the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse, and they conspire to steal a warehead, information, and technology to build a missile silo in the middle of the barrens. The Four also take over an all HMHVV gang known as the Crypt Keepers and use them to create an area of influence to keep out interlopers. The team interferes with this at several points from Canada to Russia, and ultimately confronts them at their base in the Barrens. The final fight goes down, and most of the team is disabled, along with the teams drones and van, but ultimately the team carries the day and secure the site for Knight Errant SPECOPS. The team is thanked and shuffled back into the Shadows.
