In Nomine is a modern roleplaying game in which the players take the part of celestial beings - angels and demons - as they struggle for control of humanity and themselves. The celestials, powerful though they may be, are merely pawns to a much larger game being played by their Superiors, the Archangels and Demon Princes.

No Experience necessary, characters will be provided.

Synopsis:

An old man walks onto the grounds of the private school in Northern Minnesota. A curled up newspaper under his arm, and a well used walking stick leading his way. His footsteps and cane mark a cadence to the quiet echoes of the Symphony. By a large tree, the man stops under the shade to watch some boys playing ball nearby. One of the boys turns to the old man, and after excusing himself from his friends, jogs to speak to him, "Greetings lord Yves, what can we do for you?"

"Speak to me inside, Xanxan. There is something of import to discuss." The man says with a warm smile, then turns to continue walking towards the main building. Behind him, the boy returns to play with his friends, having forgotten the old man, and his request.

As the man climbs the steps, the door opens, and a matronly woman asks, with concern on her face, "My lord, should we gather the others?"

With a thoughtful look, the ancient angel says, "Yes, Xanxan, I might as well tell you all at once."

In an instant, the woman's concern is gone, and she smiles, "Good day, Sir, welcome to St. Johns. Can I help you?"

"I have a meeting with your Headmaster Xanthus," He says with a kind smile.

In the headmaster's office, the angels gather around their leader's Superior, Yves, the Archangel of Destiny. A motley group these angels make, each in service to a different superior, each of a different choir. But this diversity has aided them in the past, and seems to be exactly what Yves is looking for today.

Laying the newspaper, which turns out to be from Minneapolis, Yves flips a few pages to a small column in the entertainment section. "A soldier, in service to Destiny had sent me word of a most peculiar event on the horizon. The symphony sings of a Soldier to Fire that will, somehow, ascend to the celestial realm. Or, as there has been increased demonic activity, the correct terminology could be, descend to the celestial realm.

"Please go to Minneapolis and track down this soldier who works as a musician at a nightclub. But be on your guard, the adversary seems to have many forces in action in Minneapolis."
