Game Type: One-Shot

Synopsis:

A one night Cthulhu game set in the '20s. The characters were spending a weekend in the country investigating the house of a young rich woman who claimed it was haunted. The group included both a professor and professional debunker, a reporter, and a proffessional psychic.

It seemed at first as though this was a clear case of a bored socialite looking for an excuse for a party, but then strange things began to happen at night, and the characters began uncovering clues about a murder, or perhaps a suicide, that occured in the house in the past... and the brother and sister that had invited them out knew something about it.

In the end it turned out that the sister had been dating the brothers best friend, and the brother tried to kill the best friend. Things went astray, and he ended up killing the sister as well in a massive fire -- then killed himself.

The game concluded when the characters solved the mystery, brought the truth to light, and realized that everyone who lived in the house had actually been dead for years.
