Synopsis:

The days are getting longer and longer and the longest day, the deadline set by the Serpent King is almost upon the realm.  Triumphantly returned from the Twilight Forest, carrying the impossible Arms of Heavens, you urged Good King Drantic the True to let you strike first, and end the threat preemptively; but he refused.

Despite the looming threat, King Drantic the true still hoped for peace; against his adviser's council.  That was until a month ago, when General Hanzlon of the Western Guard sent word that scouts have seen signs of armies marshaling on the far side of the mountain.  So Good King Drantic the True came to you, hoping that his dreams for peace had not doomed his realm to destruction.  He begged, wondering if you could save his realm one last time, or if, for the sake of the people, should he surrender to the Serpent King.

You had already discussed this, you knew your answer; you would fight - unfortunately no one knew where.  The land beyond the mountains were a mystery to all the realm, though perhaps beneth the mountain would be the answer.  After Zesiro consults with her strange magics, you discover that you will need to go to the terrible realm below the mountain range, the land of the dark-kin.  There, at the heart of the mountain is a gate which legends and portents say can bridge the path between desire and reality.

You head out, again venturing into realms that none have walked out of alive, with the mission of killing the Sperpent King before his armies cross the mountain, and preventing a war that would crush the realm.  The lands beneth the mountain proved more extensive than any had imagined.  Eyeing your dwindling supplies, you turn to the fabled map of the awakened eye one last time as you navigate through the labyrinth of endless caverns.  At long last, you finally arrive at the entrance of the dark-kin's realm, but clearly the map's scale is wrong, the realm cannot be so large!
