(To help people who are working on their part of Relative Mischief, I'm saying that it all turned out ok... it turned out that Joiner (Arianrhod's fae Dad) had decided to whisk her mom, Rhiannon off on some sort of wondrous weekend getaway as a partial apology for having been absent all of Arianrhod's life (although I'm not sure how much effort Rhiannon had put into trying to track him down over the years, but I'm sure there had been various people in her life who thought that she should have) and when Ari panicked and tried to find out what had happened to her mom Boomer was running interference by sneaking clues into her path that would keep her busy all weekend. Now, being Boomer, it's quite possible that he felt he was not only occupying Ari's time so she wouldn't worry so much and keeping her from interfering in Joiner's plans but that he was using this opportunity to introduce her to situations he thought would be of benefit to her and other people.... because Sidhe Lords are kinda arrogant asses like that by nature.... but of course beautiful utterly charming arrogant asses ;)

(I'm not entirely sure whether Joiner even outed himself as a Sidhe Lord to Rhiannon... he might as well have concocted some story about having been unavailable all these years because of fallout from some act of civil disobedience.... carefully stated so as to never actually _lie_, of course ;)

need to add links to Ground Zero, Axe-man (as well as figure out which location we're talking about) and the Global Market...

Joe? Did you have any particular intention of where this story falls timewise? (wondering if it could have happened the same weekend Ari was wandering looking for her mom and thus one of Boomer's shenanigans could have caused her to cross his path or if I should look for some other hook.) And Claus? Would the whole "psychometry the artifact" game be too repetitive or simply a reflection of it being a key part of who she is?

No, not really much of a plan for timelines. It could very easily happen whenever you need it to for there to be a hook. I kept the timing pretty vague on purpose.

Ok, so currently thinking something along the lines that if this happens the same weekend as Relative Mischief (sometime between last game and now) that following one of the red herrings snuck into her path by Boomer leads her to you.... somewhere in her trying to figure out how _this_ lead is going to get her closer to figuring out what happened to her mom something happens to cause her to touch the artifact you are investigating.... she sees something about the murders/monster that is useful to you in figuring things out. Not sure how to tie that up with a short blurb, an aspect and a bow but that's where my head is at on this so far

*lightbulb clicks on* (unfortunately for Ari it may be a blacklight bulb :)

(and I'll note Ari has very little _Lore_ so many times she'll get something from her psychometry and have to shrug and tell someone else who might know what it actually _means_)

(Although it's probably not important.... unless it seems like it would throw things off for anyone else.... I'm going to vote for Relative Mischief/Grisly Mythos happening before First Vault/Indian Givers ...... so that Ari meets Connor before he has the Hand of Glory to truly supercharge his ability to get _everywhere_ )
