Kythron 3, 1499 (June 3rd)

Group Action

1: Research - (23, 26, 22, 19, x?) How many cultists groups/Minions are in the city: Neverwinter? - 3 Groups that we can act, and 4 Groups that are going to move to adjacent cities (Can’t be affected - heading to waterdeep). And a toothbag (also heading to waterdeep).

2: Fast Travel - to Neverwinter (I cast Mage Armor) - We get jumped by 22-Bandits (12 Crossbowmen, and 9 Spearman)

Round 1: Khadim draws his bow and shoots CB1 hitting, DROPPING him, then dismounts and hides. Ella casts ACID SPLASH CB5 & CB6, One is hit. The Bandits go - most are running away. CB2 hits Jamlusrian, CB3 misses me, and CB4 misses Pagar CB5 misses Ella and CB6 hits Khadim. SM8 attacks Jamlusiran, SM7 attacks Pagar, SM9 approaches, CM10 and CM11 move to Khadim (CM10 hits). Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME on CB2, but misses. I cast GREEN FLAME blade to SM10 and splash to CM9. Pagar calls out a challenge, then moves up to (SM7 hits him as he moves), and he attacks SM10, hitting DROPPING him.
Round 2: Khadim backstabs SM11 with a rapier, DROPPING him, then hides within the bush. Ella moves up to the group and casts ACID SPLASH at CB5 & CB6, again one fails. The Bandits attack. CB5 misses Ella, CB6 misses Khadim. CB2 hits Jamlusrian, CB3 misses me, CB4 misses Pagar. SM8 crits Jamlusrian. SM7 misses me. SM9 misses Pagar. Jamlusrian casts CURE WOUNDS on himself then moves close to the group. I move up to attack SM7, and hit. Pagar lays on hand on Jamlusrian and heals 15 dmg.
Round 3: Khadim jumps out and sneak attacks CB5 DROPPING him, and then long-knives CB6, but misses, then disengages backwards. Ella casts MAGIC MISSILE at SM8, then moves away. The Bandits attack: CB2 Hits Jamlusiran, but Pagar reduces the damage. CB3 misses me. CB4 misses Pagar. CB6 misses Khadim. SM8 misses Jamlurisan. SM7 misses me. SM9 misses Pagar. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against CB2. I attack SM7, but miss. Pagar attacks SM9, hitting him.
Round 4: Khadim moves to flank SM9, DROPPING him then moves to stab SM7 with the long knife, hitting. Ella casts ACID SPLASH against SM8, but he resists. Bandits: SM8 misses Jamlusrian, SM7 hits me, but Pagar intercepts. CB6 misses Khadim, CB2 misses Jamlusrian, CB3 misses me, CB4 misses Pagar. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME on CB2, hitting. I attack and DROP SM7 and close with SM8. Pagar moves to SM8 and DROPS him.
Round 5: Khadim moves to attack CB8, Sneak Attacking, DROPPING him. Pagar calls out to the remaining crossbowmen, to talk them down. Ella casts ACID SPLASH at CB2 & CB3 (CB3 gets hit). The Bandits go: CB4 wants to run away. CB3 Runs away. CB2 stumbles away. CB4 attacks Pagar and misses. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against CB4 who fails. I cast FIRE BOLT against CB4, and DROP him. Pagar chases after against CB2
Round 6: Khadim moves to chase after Pagar. Ella chills out. The Bandits: Run.

3: Fight an Enemy Group - A group is in the Neverdeath Pauper’s Section of the Graveyard. We see 3 Fanatics and 3 Zombies

Round 1: I move up to confront Fan2, adopting the Blade Song stance and cast Mirror Image. Khadim moves up to flank Fan2, hitting and missing with his Torch. Ella casts ACID SPLASH on Fan2, hitting. Z4 moves to Me and misses, Z5 moves to Khadim, Z6 moves to Khadim. Jamlusrian casts GUIDING BOLT on Fan3, but misses. Pagar moves up to Fan2 attacking. The Fanatics go - Fan2 attacks me, but misses. Fan3 casts HOLD PERSON on Jamlusrian (who saves), and Fan1 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON on me, but misses.
Round 2: I cast GREEN FLAME BLADE at Fan2 DROPPING him, and splash to Z4. Khadim sneak stabs Z6 with Rapier and Torch, then moves to flank with me. Ella casts WITCHES BOLT on Fan3, but misses. The zombies attack. Z5 misses me twice, Z4 misses me (Due to my duplicate), Z6 misses Pagar. Jamlusrian casts GUIDING BOLT on Fan3 and hits. Pagar casts DIVINE FAVOR (lasts a minute) and attacks Z6, but misses. Fanatics go - Fan1’s spiritual weapon misses me, Fan1 casts PROFANE FLAME on Pagar, Fan3 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON against Khadim which misses.
Round 3: I move away from the Zombies to confront Fan1, one of my duplicates going away, but I miss. Khadim moves to flank Fan1 with me, hitting with his Rapier, but missing with his Torch. Ella casts ACID SPLASH against Fan3, but he gets out of the way. The zombies move to get around Pagar - Z4 misses twice, Z5 misses once and hits once, and Z6 misses twice. Jamlusrian moves to the other side of the wall, and closes with Fan3 and hits with his quarterstaff. Pagar attacks Z6, hitting and DROPPING him. The spiritual weapons attack Pagar, missing. Fan3 casts HOLD PERSON on me, and I stop. Fan1 casts HOLD PERSON on Khadim, but he resists.
Round 4: I shake off the hold person. Khadim sneak stabs Fan1, hitting, and hitting with this torch. Ella casts MAGIC MISSILE at Fan3, hitting. The Zombies go, Z4 hits once, and Z5 misses twice. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME at Fan3, but he saves. Pagar attacks Z5, hitting. The fanatics go: Fan3 tries to touch Jamlusrian but misses. Fan1 tries to touch Khadim and misses. The spiritual weapons attack Khadim, missing twice.
Round 5: I attack Fan1 and DROP him. Khadim moves to flank Fan3, he backstabs Fan3 and DROPS him. Ella casts POISON SPRAY at Z4, but he doesn’t take any damage. Zombies move, Z4 hits once, and Z5 hits once. Jamlusrian moves to heal Pagar, casting CURE WOUNDS. Pagar attacks Z4 after moving to flanking but misses.
Round 6: I flank Z4 and hit him, then adjust out of the way. Khadim moves to flank Z5, and sneaky stabs him with the rapier DROPPING him. Ella casts ACID SPLASH against Z4, hitting. The final zombie goes, Z4 attacks pagar and misses. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against Z4, hitting and DROPPING him.
Short Rest: Pagar uses HD, I use Arcane Recovery.

4: Fight an Enemy Group - A group is in the Chasm - AKA the slums - We find 2 cultists…

Round 1: Pagar moves forward and is seen by the Cultists. Kahdim moves up and shoots C1 with his bow, hitting. Ella moves up and casts MAGIC MISSILE at C1, hitting. I move up along the building and cast FIREBOLT at C1, hitting, DROPPING him. Jamlusrian moves up and casts SACRED FLAME on C2, who is hit. Five Zombies rise up.
Round 2: Pagar moves up to C2 and attacks, hitting. Khadim moves up to C2 to stab but misses, then moves to flank. Ella disengages and move. I attack Z1, hitting. Jamlusrian moves towards Pagar then casts SACRED FLAME C2, hitting. C2 looks over his shoulder can tells Khadim to “hold”, and he does so HOLD PERSON. Zombies go: Z4 attacks Pagar, hitting. Z3 moves to Ella, Z1 and Z2 flank me - one hitting. Z5 moves to Pagar and attacks.
Round 3: Pagar attacks C2 but misses, then casts SHIELD OF FAITH. Khadim shakes free of the spell. Ella disengages again, and moves then uses some sorcery points to get magic back. I attack Z1, hitting, then MISTY STEP to the group. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME on C2, but misses. C2 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON against Pagar, and then he attacks Pagar, hitting. Z4 and Z5 attack Pagar, missing. Z3 moves to Jamlusrian, missing. Z2 moves to me, hitting.
Round 4: Pagar attacks C2, hitting. Khadim attacks C2, hitting, then draws his dagger, attacking and hitting. Ella casts ACIS splash against Z2&Z3, hitting both. I attack Z1 with GREEN FLAME BLADE - Hitting, DROPPING him, and splashing to Z2, then move to flank. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against C2. C2 casts HOLD PERSON on Khadim, but he eludes it, and his spiritual weapon misses. Z5 moves around Kahdim, hitting him. But Pagar misses Z5 on the AoO. Z4 attacks Pagar, hitting. Z3 & Z2 move to flank me, and I get hit once.
Round 5: Pagar continues to assault C2, Missing. Khadim stabs the cultist, hitting, DROPPING him, then stabs Z5, hitting then moves to flank with Pagar. Ella casts ACID SPLASH against Z3, who evades. I attack Z2, hitting. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against Z2, who evades then casts HEALING WORD on me. Z5 attacks Pagar missing. Z4 attacks Pagar missing. Z3 attacks me, missing, Z2 attacks me, hitting.
Round 6: Pagar attacks Z4, critting, then he moves, and he gets hit by AoO, then channels divinity. Khadim attacks Z4, kinda dropping him, then moves and attacks Z2 with his dagger, hitting, DROPPING him. Ella casts ACID SPLASH against Z3, who evades. I attack Z3, hitting. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against Z3, hitting. Z3 attacks me, missing. Z5 attacks Ella, hitting, but Pagar intercepts the attack. Z2 misses me.
Round 7: Pagar attacks Z2, hitting. Kinda Dropping him again. Khadim daggers Z2, hitting, DROPPING him, then he moves to flank and attacks Z3, hitting DROPPING him. Ella disengages and moves behind Pagar. I move to Pagar and cast FLAMEBOLT at Z5, hitting. Pagar casts SACRED FLAME at Z5, hitting. Z5 misses Pagar.
Round 8: Pagar attacks Z5, hitting. Khadim moves to flank, and stabs Z5 hitting, and DROPPING him.
We search the bodies, do a divine sense, and rest.

5: Fight an Enemy Group - in the Blacklake District - there is a shack and cathedral near the manor house, and Khadim and I go to check out the cathedral. We get shot at!

Round 1: I move up, see some skeletons, FIREBOLT S3 but miss, then move. Khadim (inside the cathedral) moves out through the window, tries shooting S3, but misses. Pagar double moves closer (and sees 2 cultists). Ella moves closer. Jamlusrian moves up and casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON and a quarterstaff bludgeons F2 then casts SACRED FLAME on F2, missing. Skeletons: Z1 shoots Pagar, misses.
Round 2: I move up, (Get hit once), the FIREBOLT S3 hitting. C1 and C2 both casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON on Pagar. C1 and C2 both move to flank Pagar. C1 casts HOLD PERSON, succeeding. C2 hits Pagar. Khadim moves around the manor house, and shoots C2, hitting. Pagar shakes off the hold. Ella casts FIREBOLT at C2, hitting. Jamlusrian has his spiritual weapon attack C2, misses, then casts SACRED FLAME against C2. Skeletons: They all move. S1 hits Khadim, S2 misses Pagar.
Round 3: I move up, cast FIREBOLT S4, hitting. C1 HOLD PERSON on Pagar, C2 HOLD PERSON on Khadim (both fail). The two spiritual weapons on Pagar miss. C2 moves out of the window. Khadim attacks C2, hitting twice. Pagar adjusts out of the room and attacks C2, crits, and DROPS him. Ella moves to cast (Pagar interferes) then casts BURNING HANDS hitting 2 full, and 1 partial. DROPPING x2. Jamlusrian moves his spiritual weapon to C1, hitting, then casts SACRED FLAME, hitting. Skeletons go: S2 moves to Pagar , S1 attacks Khadim, hitting, S6 move to Khadim hitting, S5 shoots at Ella, hitting..
Round 4: I move up and use GREEN FLAME BLADE attack S6, hitting, and splash to S2. C1 moves his spiritual weapon against Khadim hitting, then stabs at Pagar missing. Khadim is unconscious and makes his death save. Phagar uses his Channel Divinity, bringing Khadim alive, then he swings at C1 but misses then moves . Ella casts FIREBOLT S5, hitting and DROPPING it. Jamlusrian moves his spiritual weapon to attack C1 , but misses. Then he moves (S6 hits with an AoO, but Pagar intercepts), then uses his healer’s kit on Khadim. Skeletons go: They all attack Khadim, and hit three times.
Round 5: I attack C1 with GREEN FLAME BLADE, hitting, and S6 gets splashed. The spiritual weapon misses Khadim, and C1 stabs Khadim, hitting knocking him unconscious. Khadim fails his save (really bad). Pagar moves into the room (S6 misses), and uses Healing Hand on Khadim. Ella casts FIREBOLT on C1 hitting then moves. Jamlusrian uses his spiritual weapon on C1 but misses, then casts CURE WOUNDS on Khadim. Skeletons: S2 attacks Khadim (but Pagar intercepts), S1 hits, and S6 hits.
Round 6: I attack C1 with GREEN FLAME BLADE, hitting, DROPPING him, and splashing S6 DROPPING him. Khadim stands up and stabs S2, missing, then disengages. Pagar adjusts and attacks S2, hitting. Ella moves to get line of sight, the casts FIREBOLT at S2, hitting, DROPPING him. Jamlusrian moves to get line of sight, hitting with his spiritual weapon, then casting SACRED FLAME but evades. S1 misses Pagar.
Round 7: I cast S1 with BOOMING BLADE, hitting, and DROPPING him.

There are 4 groups and a toothbag heading to Waterdeep…

Of the 4 groups, Two of them are together so we could take them at once.
Three of the groups have Ghouls - Research (10, 23, 20, 16, 22, low)

6: Fight an enemy group (2 at once!) - We head to the wharf, they are the last to leave because of their size. We do a group stealth - 2, 8, 14, 16, 7, 3. We see - 2 Fanatics and 8 Ghouls (1 Fanatic and 3 Ghouls are on a boat)

Round 1: Tadeshi casts PROTECTION FROM GOOD/EVIL on me. I cast PROTECTION FROM GOOD/EVIL on Pagar. Jamlusrian moves up and casts SACRED FLAME against G8, but it evades. Khadim moves up and shoots at G8, hits, and then hides. Pagar moves up and casts SHIELD OF FAITH on me. Ghouls move up to surround Pagar. Fanatics go, F2 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON on Pagar, but it misses, then he casts HOLD PERSON. G8 and G7 miss Pagar. Ella casts FIREBOLT at G8, Hitting.
Round 2: Tadeshi moves and casts SPECTRAL HAND (CHILL TOUCH) at F2 and hits. I move forward and mis G8. Jamlusrian moves up and casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON on F2, Hitting. Khadim keeps moving closer and shoots F2, but misses, then moves forward again. Pagar attacks and DROPS G8. Fanatics and Ghouls go, advancing. G7 attacks Pagar and hits by a bite. G5 misses Pagar. G6 attacks Me but misses. F2’s Spiritual weapon misses (and he moves it to Khadim), and then he casts PROFANE FLAME on Jamlusiran, who gets out of the way. Ella moves forward and uses sorcery to cast a twinned FIRE BOLT, against G3 and the Boat - hitting G3.
Round 3: Tadeshi casts Mirror Image then moves up. I adjust and flank with Tadeshi, and STab G6, hitting. Jamlusiran casts SACRED FLAME against F2, missing. Khadim attacks G5 hitting, then misses with his dagger. Pagar attacks G5, hitting. Cultists and Ghouls go - Spiritual Weapon attacks Khadim, which Pagar intercepts. F2 moves to attack Pagar, hitting. G6 attacks me, (Tadeshi uses sentinel and attacks G6) missing, and a second attack against Tadeshi, missing. G7 attacks Pagar, missing. G5 attacks Pagar, missing, hitting with his claw (Pagar is paralized). G4 attack Khadim, missing twice. (The boat gets to the pier, and the ghouls/cultist disengage) Ella and CAST MAGIC MISSILE (LV2) against F2, disrupting his concentration.
Round 4: Tadeshi uses his shortsword against G6, hitting DROPPING him, then moves and punches at F2, hitting, DROPPING him. I adjust down closer to Pagar, and stab G4, hitting. Jamlusrian uses his Channel Divinity to turn undead - causing G7 and G5 are ‘turned’, then moves his spiritual weapon closer. Khadim moves around to attack G4 hitting and DROPPING him. Pagar shakes off the effect of the paralysis. The Ghouls move away (Pagar tries to hit one as it moves away but misses. Tadeshi attacks G7.) G7 attacks Pagar missing twice. The boat crew make it totally on the pier, and move up, and F1 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON on Pagar, hitting. Ella casts MAGIC MISSILE (LV2) at F1.
Round 5: Tadeshi attacks G7 with Shortsword, hitting, then Kicking. I move around and stab G7, hitting. Jamlusrian moves up to Pagar and uses a healer’s kit, then moves the Spiritual Weapon against G7, DROPPING him. Khadim moves up and hides. Pagar use LAY ON HANDS on himself, and moves up. The Ghouls/Cultist move. The spiritual weapon moves to Jamlusrian but misses. F1 casts PROFANE FLAME on Ella, who gets out of the way. G5 runs away. G2 Misses Pagar twice. G3 bites Pagar but the claw Misses. Ella casts MAGIC MISSILE (LV1) against CF1.
Round 6: Tadeshi moves up hitting G3 with his Sword, and missing with his Kick. I invoke the Bladesong stance, and then move forward to attack CF1, hitting with BOOMING BLADE, DROPPING him. Jamlusrian moves his spiritual weapon to hit G3, and then casts SACRED FLAME against G3, DROPPING him, and then moves up. Khadim moves up to stab at G2, missing with his rapier, and hitting with his dagger. Pagar moves to flank with G2, but misses. G1 moves to attack Pagar hitting (Tadeshi attacks with Sentinel) and Pagar falls. G2 attacks Khadim, hitting twice (Khadim is paralized). Ella casts FIRE BOLT at G1 hitting.
Round 7: Tadeshi misses G1 with his Shortsword, and misses with his kick (getting inspiration). I move around and attack G2, hitting, and DROPPING him. Jamlusrian uses his SPIRITUAL WEAPON on G1, hitting, DROPPING him.

Pagar uses his channel divinity to turn the tide, and Jamlusrian uses his healers kit on Pagar (stabilize) and Khadim (HP).

7: Fight - We’re looking for a fight with some cultists and skeletons - 2 Fanatics and 6 Skeletons - they have overtaken a caravan and are butchering folks… so we act!

Round 1: I run forward and FIREBOLT the cultist, but miss. Skeletons: S1 Attackd me and missed S2 attacked me and hit (for 4) S3 missed Ella S4 missed pagar S5 attacks Khadim was hit, S6 attacks Jamlusrian hit (Pagar intercepts). Khadim shoots F1 and hits (Sneak Attack), and moves up. Ella casts FIREBOLT at S4, misses. Jamlusrian moves up and casts SACRED FLAME F1 and hits. F1 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON against ella hitting (6) and casts PROFANE FLAME against me hitting F2 casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON against ella missing and casts PROFANE FLAME against Jamlurisan, hitting. Pagar double moves into the fray.
Round 2: I move up to F2, hitting. Skeletons: S1 attacks Pagar hitting (4), S2 attacks Pagar missing, S3 attacks Pagar, missing, S4 attacks Pagar missing, S5 attacks pagar missing, S6 attacks pagar missing. Khadim moves up and flanks F1 hitting DROPPING him. Ella moves up and casts FIREBOLT at F2, critting. Jamlusrian moves up and CHANNEL DIVINITY (TURN), S6 fails, S4 fails, S3 fails, and S1 fails. F2 stabs Khadim twice (hit 4/Crit 7), Pagar uses his CHANNEL DIVINITY (TURN THE TIED) and then moves to attack F2 hitting.
Round 3: I move up to F2 and stab F2, hitting. S5 shoots Pagar missing, S2 shoots pagar, missing. S1, S3, S4, S6 run away. Khadim shifts to flank F2, and stabs hitting (DROPPING HIM). Ella casts FIREBOLT at S6 missing. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME against S2, who dodges. Pagar move to S5, attacking and hitting.
Round 4: I move to S2 attacking and CRITTING. S2 attacks me hitting (5) S5 attacks Pagar hitting (5). Khadim moves to S2 to attack hitting (SA), DROPPING him. Ella casts FIREBOLT at S6 hitting. Jamlusrian casts SACRED FLAME S5 who dodges. Pagar attacks S5, DROPPING him.
Round 5: I move 80 towards S4, casting FIREBOLT criting and DROPPING him. S6 moves back and shoots Pagar hitting (4). S1 & S3 run. Khadim is running after S1&S3. Ella casts FIREBOLT at S6, hitting. Jamlusrian moves after S1&S3. Pagar interacts with the NPCs.
Round 6: I double move towards S1&S3. Skeletons S6 shoots Pagar and misses. S1&S3 move. Khadim chases. Ella casts FIREBOLT at S4 and misses. Jamlursian chases. Pagar moves to S6 and attacks and hits DROPPING him.
Round 7: I double move after S1&S3. Skeletons move. Khadim moves up and shoots S1 and hits. Ella interacts with NPCs. Jamlusrian moves after S3. Pagar interacts with the NPCs
Round 8: I move up and cast FIREBOLT at S3. S1 shoots Khadim hits (4), and S3 shoots me (4) Khadim attacks S1 hitting DROPPING him and then he moves to me. Ella interacts with the NPCs Jamlusrian moves up. Pagar interacts with the NPCS.
Round 9. I cast FIREBOLT at S3 missing., and move up. S3 misses me. Khadim shoots S3 hitting, DROPPING him.

8: Fight - We continue to chase down the Cultist/Ghouls (pagar starts vomiting in the corner) - Find another caravan with folks… we know there are cultists hiding in the caravan, and we look for them. We can’t find them until they shout “NOW” (4 Ghouls 1 Cults)

Round 1: Ghouls all close on each of us: G1 attacks me twice, missing. G2 Attacks Khadim bite hitting (9), G3 attacks Jamlurisan, claw hits (7), G4 attacks Ella Claw crit (12) (Saves against paralysis). Jamlusrian uses Channel Divinity (TURN UNDEAD) 2 turned then casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON at the Cultist, hitting. The Cultist casts SPIRITUAL WEAPON at Jamlusrian hitting (8) and then he attacks Khadim missing twice. Khadim stabs at Cultist flanking hitting (sneak attacks) Ella Disengages and moves out of the way I cast MIRROR IMAGE on myself then move. The civilians move
Round 2: Ghouls move a bit G3 attacks Jamlusrian, claw hit (7), G4 attacks me and one of my images pops. G1 & G2 move.
