Tom K

The legendary (some would say 'apocrhyphal' or 'infamous') Tom K was the first non-founding member of the first official generation of the TGC, known as the Ratpack. Elected President by unanimous draft several times, he presided over tumultous periods of growth, and ultimately wrote about them in _The Table Gaming Club: A History_, which is considered the definitive work on its topic by those in the know (ie. people who have any idea that there ever was a TGC or any appreciation of its history). A brilliant scholar of Political Science, he proceeded from UMF to Grad school in California to a Professorship in England.

Tom is considered one of the Great TGC GMs, running scenarios rich with mystery, subterfuge, and nuance; celebrated by those who pay close attention and talk their way out of problems, but derided by those who go in with guns blazing and expect not to die. Tom demonstrates a particular fascination for espionage, Asian cultures (including the non-oriental ones), and how people act, talk, behave and form opinions. He should also be considered an expert on Gurps, Shadowrun (1st and 2nd editions), and Cyberpunk 2020 oh, and probably Talislanta. If sighted, detain carefully. He is alleged to be able to jump between trees and disappear.
