This is part of the ongoing Shadowrun: Missions campaign ( Uriahs Shadowrun Game ). First priority will be given to the players that already participate, but if they are unable to attend, it will be open to first comers. If you would like to sign up for this slot, it is recommended that you also designate a second choice option in case there are no extra openings.
Synopsis:
When the choice comes down to your reputation or your life, most runners choose to keep breathing. Now a team is needed to find out why a smuggler cut his losses and ran at the first sign of heat. When Don Casquilho requests you personally, you'd best answer the call.

2pm. So, we get a call from Miguel the big ugly orc to meet at Cosquilo Imports at 6pm.
Don wants us to find a smuggler who was moving something for me. 1kNY now, and 6kNY at end. Wyatt is his name, done good work, but failed to deliver this time. Find him and bring him to Don, who wants to talk to him. Hands us a hard copy file and pic of Terry Wyatt. Pic is of him and his wife, Terry W. at social function with kid and background. Also beams contact info for Janna McKee, a coyote who worked with Terry.
New runner with us this time, its Spydr the Smuggler (from the Example characters). We cross the street to a quiet dive bar, get a drink, and talk.
I call Tak == nothing, Stalker == nothing, Peaches we talk, she says he moves chips for the Mafia, but doesn't know much else about him. She says call her back if I'm desperate. I consider calling right back.
Moon checks out the guys house Astrally. Two signatures in there. (I kinda expected three or more).
Moon calls Lady Jade (who didn't answer my phone call) but she repeats what Peaches said as well as that Aurora Angels picked up the load and that he's in hiding.
I've heard of the Angels, they're a low life, small name Go Gang (Bikes). Their leader is looking to make a name for himself in the Matrix since he couldn't on the street. I sorta know their hideout. Moon goes and summons a fire Elemental. Then he calls Jana, no answer. We drive by the Wyatt residence. Jenna messages back, meet at Gun Road and Mississipi Ave. Spydr speeds ahead to watch that corner. Spydr sees a young woman standing on the corner. Moon speeds ahead and checks her out too. She's not augmented or happy.
She leads us back in an alley and we go down a sewer grate. Shes armed, Cyska Scorpion, backpack. Tight jeans, tank top, shirt, hiking boots. Average looks average height. Courier backpack with climbing kit in it and crowbar. Moon and Jana negotiate. 500 NY. Vari Varconi? Russian mob pushing into Denver with a Vengence. They're pushing into Denver with a vengence, there is a gentleman level and thug level, and they don't hold back. Avtoritey are the Gentlemen, Vari are the thugs.
For 200NY more, she takes us further into the Subway. We go far enough in we get to a deadzone, lose contact with Spydr, but stick in contact with each other. After 3 miles a warm glow creeps in. An AR 'Welcome to the 5 x 5' we deposit weapons at the gate. I leave the Predator, but not the ammo. Its a Cheers for Smugglers.
10pm ish. I'm playing darts by myself. Terry is kicked through the door as Moon and Jana are talking. Ivan Romanov is shutting down the bar, and orders everyone but them, Terry and the bartender to stay. Ivan is with two more of these russian soldiers, they have shotguns.
We get up to leave, and Jana talks shit and divers for her gun as I'm outisde. Terry and Moon jump over the bar dive to get behind cover. I drop the leader with two shots, and then one shoots at me and one shoots at Jana. One hits me, and I take 6 stun. Jana dodges and I shoot the one on her, then my second shot jams. I take two more shots and that one drops. The last ones shotgun chamber explodes and he drops it and runs out. I shoot him twice in the back as he flees, and drop him.
Bartender, named Matty, says thanks and I drink for free. I can keep my Predator. We start talking to him and hes scared. The bar clears out and we drink a bit. We burn the bodies of the Ruskies.
On our way out, the message from Moon's buddy snitch leaves a message that a Go Gang got Terry's load and Terry is working for the Russians and the Cosquillo.
We go to walk out with Terry and Spydr. I call Miguell and he agrees to get info on the box. Moon is looking for info on the leader of the Aurora Assholes.
We go drive by Terry's house, and Moon disguises Terry as invisible. Moon checks inside and there are 4 inside and 1 is tense, he tells him there are only 2 and they're calm in there.
We go to the Aurora Angels place, Moon talks to the leader about a buy after calling his Fixer Buddy. I shoot a good twice, but he dodges. Spydr shoots boss twice and hurts him, I shoot him once and drop him as they're running. Moon goes to read his mind as I try to stabilize his wound.
I go into the Whse and get the six crates. Spydr gets her van, comes back, and we load up the truck and drive off with an extra bike in the back.
Call Miguell, he says come in to the imports place. The Don is there and is tired because of the hour, its like 2am. He says you've got my favor for doing this, thank you. We unload the truck. Don thanks us again and pays us. I beg a little to let Terry live. As we walk out the Jamacian starts cutting Terry.
We drive by Terry's house, there are more bodies in there, some awakened, and some more cyber guys. Wife is not there.
Next day she's found dead in driveway, stabbed to death.
