Moonshine

In 1932, Chicago is in the midst of the Great Depression and Prohibition. There is money to be made transporting beer made in the illegal stills across the city to other states. There are gangsters and bootlegged liquor in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, but is that all?

The GM: Brad

The Characters: Up to six characters

Game System: Alternity

Players do not need to be familiar with the rules prior to the game. The game will use the Alternity rules and rules from the Dark*Matter Alternity setting. However, the rules are all based around a similar mechanic and will be explained before the game.

Game Type: One-Shot

Synopsis:

On a cool, rainy April day in 1932, a delivery of Chicago-stilled beer is set to be made in a remote location near Rhinelander, WI. The Chicago Outfit (Capone's Gang) hires non-members to drive trucks from Chicago to the delivery point. The drivers aren't told what's in their trucks, only where to go. If they're stopped by authorities, they are told to let their truck go and claim no knowledge of what's in it. When they arrive at the delivery point, they leave the truck, take another that is waiting for them, and head home. This operation has been going on for years.

When a loaded truck crashes within a mile of the delivery site, things get complicated. Was it an accident or who's messing the mob's plans?

Play a low-level member of the Outfit or one of the drivers.
