Return to Meridian

The company heard rumors of a drow that had been fished out of the river to the west of Meridian.  He was clearly injured, exhausted, and near-comatose.  The only intelligible thing that his rescuers were able to understand was, "They come from the west!"

Finding out that he was being kept at the Church of Pelor, the company sought him out there, to see if they could find out any more information.  Some quick negotiation skills and offers of aid allowed them to gain admittance, and they found the Drow uncounsious in a small room.  The priest, confident in the good intentions of the company, left them alone with the body as he went to deal with other injured.

After surveying the wounds and the man's posessions, the company began to adminster to the injured man, doing their best to revive him as well as help him recover.  During the process, Kythriel discoverd that the man was poisoned, and Rowan was able to determine that the poison was mystical in nature.  Using Thoradin's enchanted bedroll, and some aggressive healing techniques, the company was finally able to revive the man, long enough to learn that a goblin army was marching to the west.

Confident that we have not further endangered the Drow, the Company leaves after informing the priest of their actions, and the man's words of warning.
