Return to Kingdom Under Seige
- As of MidWinter, diplomats sent to the town of Kingsford (3 days away) have not been heard from in 12 days.
- It was discovered that the diplomats never arrived in Kingsford.
- A minor arcanist was discovered to have knowledge of a plot to rid Cormanthor of the elven filth. He had been paid with old Zhent coins by an entity to which he refers to as, K'tch-loc (the Giant word for Distruction.)
- Josef's two accomplices were interrogated and released
- Josef himself was tortured by Ryvven (witnessed by Tharivol and Flick) and then secreted out of the city, with the intent of bringing him to Myth Drannor to pay for his crimes.
- Josef admitted to working for K'tch-loc for 2 years. During that time, he was to harbor any agents that passed through (none have in the 2 years), and pass on any important information that he finds by having his agents place sealed documents in drop points. He has only met K'tch-loc once after being employeed... but is nigh-fantatical.
- From the perspective of the Myth Drannorians, the information that Josef has passed on does not seem very useful.
- Og took custidy of Josef, and escorted him back to Myth Drannor.
- A sinkhole has appeared two days to the south of Myth Drannor (on the road to Abensford). As a caravan passed it, it belched fire.
- The sinkhole, which appeared 3 days before Midwinter has grown in size, now twice as large.
- No pattern can be attributed to the occurance of the fire spurts, though they are getting larger.
- A small company was sent from Myth Drannor to investigate on 6th of Altruiak, none have returned.
- The snow and ice in the area surrounding the sinkhole have all melted, and the water draining into the hole is causing a large column of steam.
- A strong Conjuration Aura can be seen at the bottom of the sinkhole, though the aura seems to indicate travel, instead of creation.
- Anyone in the area for longer than a half hour starts to get a headache.
- As of the 12th of Altruiak, Tharivol and Arust noticed that the Flame Spurts began to act differently. Instead of just belching straight out of the hole, the flames have begun to climb the sides of the Sinkhole, lingering for longer than they should.
- A priest of Bahgtru approached a company to hire them to seek the "Bloody Maul of Bahgtru," a powerful magical weapon, entrusted to mighty warriors of Bahgtru, to use on divine quests. The last weilder was believed to have carried it to the Caves of Demise in the Dragonspire Mountains.
- The town of Oaksworn, in which lived around 200 elves disappeared sometime after the fall harvest festival and Midwinter.
- All evidence indicates that it never existed, except for in the memories of those that had been there (it still appears on maps)
- Og wanted to talk to Arust, but they went seperate ways before discussing it.
