KUS Relative Power

Page history last edited by Jesse 2 mos ago

Return to Kingdom Under Seige

On a scale of 1 to 100, where 1 is the 'N00B' and 100 is the 'best there is', where to you see your character in relative power as compared to the 'adventures' of myth drannor?

Example, in the scale of 'brutal ass-kickory' and 'able to taking a beating and kill everything' Og thinks he is at the 85 percent level...

So, 84 percent of the folks trying to fill that role do so worse than him, while 15 do so better...  This doesn't really say anything about his power level, but instead, it allows me, the player of og, to suggest what I want the power-level of all the other 'bak'&'attabake'... Gonna just shorten that to barbarian.

Does that make sense?

If you fill multiple roles, tell me where you scale on each

Tharivol (Replied Wed, Jun 17, 2009 at 7:26 PM)

Guardian of the forest: 81%

Silent Killer: 79%

Healer: 10%

Shapechanging: Priceless

Arust (replied Wed, Jun 24, 2009 at 1:50 PM)

Arust is in the ranged damage dealer group, specializing in seeing things, tracking things, and not being seen.

So for Myth-Drannor, there are probably a fair number of other Eladrin and Elves in that group, though the Eladrin's stats aren't quite as good at it.  I also think our (PC's) base stats are better than the average npc's base stats.

So overally, I'd put Arust in the low 70-71 of a infinite population.

For Myth Drannor/Cormanthor/Dalelands population, he's maybe low 80-83 because I could have squeezed out another couple 'to hit' if I'd really focused.

For Myth Drannor proper population he's probably high 88-92, maybe even 95, because Myth Drannor is probably full of slacker intellectual wanna be rangers who should be out in the forest killing things instead of reading, as evidenced by their current state of affairs.

My guess is the Myth Drannor Guard/Patrol have a militia unit or five (100-200 total) of rangers, most will be low level, but there are probably 50 of Arust's level or better, most will be in the militia, and most will be slackers.  This is based on the assumption that the city proper of 10,000 has a standing guard/patrol of 500 members, and a militia of between 4000-5000 made up of nearly all able bodied males and females.  Might be even more considering the low % of children and elderly in a population of elves/eladrin.

Ryvven (replied Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 10:50 AM)

Ryv is dual roled.  On one hand, he is a skilled diplomat, comfortable in most social situations (from street roughs to high society).  On the other hand, his magic and melee damage dealing abilities are significant.  In support of both of these roles, he is well versed in stealth.

In political power, Ryv is maybe in the 60 - 75% range.

In intelligence circles, Ryv is in the 80%+ range, having done most of his MD assignments in wetwork and blackbag ops.

In stealthiness, Ryv is in the 80 - 90% category.  (His actual skill isnt that crazy high compared to arust and tharivol, but his stealth related powers are considerable)

In roguish charm, Ryv is in the 95%+ range, as his swagger is wide and low. ;)

In mage blasty power, Ryv is in the 60% range, since MD is chock full of wizardy types.
