Character Creation and Character Sheet
All characters will be made on the new WotC character builder. See Claus to set up time to do this; Either on the phone, in person at another game, or by submitting your character sheet another way. Claus will print out character sheets each week if you want to use them. Changes to the sheet will need to be submitted to Claus in a timely fashion. Assistance with this will be as forthcoming as possible :)
Character Motivations
As you build your characters, there are some qualities that each character must share.
- Motivated. You have to have goals, and be a 'go getter.' Means, don't make a character that is going to be content just sitting in a bar waiting for 'adventure' to come a-knockin'.
- Good. This doesn't actually mean that you are the alignment "good" but it means that you honestly believe that the world would be a better place if there were more good people.
As a very important part, you have to genuinely care about the welfare of the people of Myth Drannor. You cannot be a secret spy for the enemy, you cannot want to sell it into slavery.
To Link 1 and 2 together, you have to be actively working towards the betterment of Myth Drannor and her people.
Along this journey, the game will start as you are going to be recognized for something you've done. (This could be something short term, like defeated a formidible foe, or it could be long term like protected a section of Cormathyr for 100 years.) Consider it like a modern day soldier being awarded a special medal. You can choose what task it is that you're being publically honored for. If you wish, you can also be honored with a title. (Don't go crazy with it, no "I dub thee, Sith Lord of Myth Drannor" or anything like that.) Unless someone else takes the initiative, I'll come up with some sutible titles if you want. (You don't have to have a title as part of the award...)
I'll want to know the award causing event before we start... but you do not have to share it with others if you do not want to. (It will be shared at the first game.)
