Thar takes off after we meet the lone porter for the Company of the Scarlet Blade, he's been waiting a while, but they haven't come up.

Flick ties a rope to Delak and then Delak heads in.  There is darkness at the bottom of the hole, and lots of heat.  Then a lick of fire burns him. He comes back up and tells us there is supernatural darkness down there.  With no fire or other protection, we use the soaked rope and lower Delak down, Flick and I are lowering him, with Ryvven on overwatch.  Brenna and Straelyn are up top watching.  Delak breaks the event horizon and disappears.  Rope comes back burned.  We tie up Ryvven and lower him in.  Rope gets cut off and he disappears.  Ryvv calls back that they are both standing in a 60' x 60' room with a 10' walkway on east, on the south end in the center of the wall.  They are in an oven like room, with a fireplace on the west wall.  A strong hot wind blows in from the east.  There is a hot pool, and a pair of iron golem things.  One is a Greater Helmed horror turns to face him.  There is a pile of bones in the bottom of the pool, which is a Bone Naga, an immortal being.

Once we all get in, we form up in the south west corner and prep.  Ryvv talks to the Horror and the Naga.  The Naga says it, like the Horror is here to guard the door. It is guarding the door for a Lord, and he is beyond the door. They intend for the fire above to do what it is doing. Ryvv calls him out, insults him, and then readies an attack. 

We attack. Arust marks the Naga, shoots, and misses.  Brenna Bedazling orbs it and hits. Ryvv magic missiles the Helmed Horror and hits.  Flick charges the Helmed Horror and hits.  Del charges the Naga and hits.  Straelyn 'bolt of rising sun' against Naga and hits, doing damage.  Horror close bursts everyone but Del, Arust, and Brenna; they take medium thunder damage and it misses Flick with a swing.  I miss with Misdirected Mark.  Naga bites Delak, but misses. 

Arust uses Perfect Aim, then Hawk's Talon on the Naga and hits.  Brenna hits again, Ryvv magic missiles again.  Flick shifts to flank w/ GD who moved up on the Horror, but misses.  Delak cracks the crap out of he Naga with a crit, bloodying the Naga. Straelyn shoots something at the Naga and hits. Horror hits Flick for damage and cold, then shifts out of the flank.  I miss.  Delak hits the Naga as it moves away, up to Arust and Straelyn, and attack Delak it misses. Then it attacks him again and hits, leaving 5 Necrotic ongoing. 

Arust shoots it, provoke an opportunity, gets hit, and then shoots it twice hitting once. Arust saves.  Brenna hits it and damages it.  Ryvv color sprays but misses.  Flick hits the Horror again.  Delak misses, then fails save.  Straelyn close blasts the Naga and misses.  The Horror hits Flick again, Flick misses. I miss with Dissonant Strain.  Naga bursts Delak, Arust, Straelyn, and misses Ryvven. 

Arust shoots twice misses, fails both. Brenna missed. Ryvv Death Strikes the Naga and damages it.  Flick hits the Horror and drops it prone again.  Delak moves around it and his aura allows us two saves if we're adjacent.  Straelyn still dazed misses.  Horror explodes, hitting everyone.  I miss, this is getting old.  Naga does a Death Sway and hits Straelyn but he takes no damage, and Delak gets hit.  When it attacked Ryvv it took damage back auto.

Arust moves away from it and fails both saves, and is bloodies.  Brenna hits it again and penalizes it.  Ryvven does a melee magic missile and crits. Flick shifts and charges the Naga, but misses. Delak bloodies himself as he charges up his axe and swings at it, killing it with his holy strike. Straelyn blasts the Horror. The Horror moves between Delak and Ryvv and does some damage to each of them.  I move towards Arust and heal him, then miss with Misdirected Mark.

Arust shifts to the Horror and misses twice. Brenna Illusory ambushes. Ryvv Death Strikes after a move and hits. Flick attacks the horror and crits.  It is bloodied now. Delak Divine Strengths, saves, is not weakened. Then Holy Strikes, and misses. Straelyn uses Avenging light on the Horror and crits with radiant damage.  Horror blows up, and hits Flick, Delak, GD, and Elloth.  Arust heals me.

Arust marks the Horror, then hits once and misses once. Brenna misses. Ryvven magic missiles the Horror and misses. Flick cracks its skull, but misses.  Delak second winds, moves and challenging strikes, misses. Straelyn drops a pillar of fire on the Horror and nearby squares. Hits it and does fire damage. Horror shifts out and takes fire damage from the Pillar.  It then attacks but misses flick.  I miss.

Arust hits once and misses once. Brenna hits the Horror for Psychic damage.  Ryvv misses. Flick hits and damages it.  Delak marks and holy strikes, misses. Straelyn puts up Energy Shroud, minors Iron Hide everyone but Arust. It shifts five towards Arust and explodes. I am bloodied and it dies.

Arust hits it twice and it dies.

We take a short rest and everyone heals to full (but GD).  We fill Ryvven and Arust's belt. 

We move down the hall, go down stairs, and come to a pair of corners, Del is leading, with Ryvv and Flick blocking right behind, then staggered is Straelyn, Brenna, Elloth, then GD and Arust block the rear.  A serpentine creature stands with a longbow stands by the end, a constant stream of magma falls from the ceiling, and two iron bound doors are on the north wall.  Delak is the only one that sees this as we are behind the first corner. 

Arust moves up, see the Salamander Archer, marks it, shoots and hits with Hammering Volley, and hears more slithering things anda big iron beast on the other side of the magma.  Then a Fire Giant moves up right almost infront of the second corner, a soldier. Arust's opportunity attack misses it, and it attacks Arust hitting him. Ryvv holds. Straelyn moves up and does an attack on the giant and hits it. Delak does a buff, moves up, and attacks the giant. Ryvv magus' and then magic missiles twice. Giant is bloodied. I move up a few, start singing to hit, and Shout of Triumph Arust out of melee so Flick can attack. Brenna moves up a little and bedazzle orbs the giant, missing. The Salamander moves to the side making room for a second one, then the Salamander archers shoot 4 times at Delak, he's hit twice taking damage. Another archer is on the close side of the magma and both shots miss Delak. Flick charges the giant, hitting for good damage.

Arust perfect strike hawk's talon the same Salamander and bloodies him.  The Giant hits Delak and Flick, and crits Arust. Straelyn heals Arust for a bunch, then he moves up and drops the hammer.  An enemy suddenly appears infront of Delak in a wisp of flame, it is a Fire Archon Ash Disciple, artillery. It attacks and gets shot by Arust with a Disruptive strike, he hits and is penalized.  He hits Brenna, Strealyn, and crits me. We are blind. Curses! Delak marks the giant and holy strikes, he misses. Ryvv magic missiles the giant twice, kills the giant. Then he moves up and misses. I shift up one, maintain my song, and save agains the blindness. Good Gods! Brenna hits the Ash Disciple. The Salanders fire six arrows at Delak, I shift him up one and all six miss. Flick backs up to get a running start and then charges and misses.

Arust remarks the Ash guy and hits once, misses once. Straelyn shifts back and drops a healing figurine and makes his save.  Ash guys flame waves everyone but Del and GD; hitting everyone else. Delak makes a save for Flick, who is no longer on fire, and he charges the far archer.  The bloodied archer moves out of LOS, and the Ash disciple moves out of sight with a teleport. Delak uses his second wind, and hits the archer solidly. Ryvven magic missiles the far archer three times. I move up to healing range of Delak, I misdirected mark to Flick and kill the far salamander.  By Corelleon! Brenna gets a healing surge and makes a save agains the fire and makes it, then saves against blindness fails. A far bloodied salamander moves up and shoot Delak twice, I shift him up, and he hits Delak once. The close Salamander shoots Flick twice critting him once and misses, I shift him closer to that one. Flick charges across the room at the far Salamander, but hits it and kills it. Swift charging the Ash Disciple and hits for some more.

Arust moves across the room, takes the fire, and saves. Straelyn commands the healing robot to heal Brenna and she makes her save, then he moves around the corner, and shoots a spike wire at the last Salamander, hitting. The Ash guy ports and drops a bomb around Delak and Arust, bloodying Arust. It cackles in primordial, I shout "Die Ash Hole!" Delak moves up, marks, and holy strikes missing. Ryvven moves up twice and minors a magic missile at the Ash Hole bloodying him. I move over to Flick, Arust and Delak, and sustain on the far side of the magma wall.  Brenna moves up beside Straelyn, they're blockin the opposite side of the magma fall.  The Salamander attack's Delak twice, hitting once, then missing, then I push him up. Flick charges and hits the Salamander hard, bloodying it.

Arust moves over to corner, marks the salamander, shoots twice, hits with both and drops the Salamander. The Ash guy is now alone. Straelyn missed. Ash guy puched Delak. Delak challenges the Ashy guy, and holy strikes him. Ryvven missiles three times, misses twice, hits once. I miss. Brenna moves out and blasts the Ash guy, hitting him. Flick backs off and charges, hitting, and drops him.  Flick bloodies himself. It explodes in one final act of defiance, hitting Del, Flick, Arust, El and Bren.

Straelyn drops a heal robot and Delak does his surge standard. We take a short rest and everyone fills up. Healing Surges left: Ryvv 4, Flick 9, Del 11, Straelyn 6, Brenna 6, Arust 1, Elloth 4. I action point to recharge my Song of Courage with my Vet's Armor. Ryvven found five gems worth 5,000gp each (25kgp total).
