Take Your Time, Gentlemen

A young, vaudeville trained actress, dancer and performer in the famous "The Valentine Acrobats & Vaudeville" family act. Constantly in trouble with her peers as she openly rejects the formal, popular image of the "Gibson Girl". Dorothy prefers the pre-flapper straight lined clothing that will become popular later during the Jazz era (a bit ahead of her time one might say).

Dorothy is indeed a "new breed" of young women. She wears short skirts, bobs her hair and listens to Ragtime music. She flaunts her disdain for "acceptable woman's behavior". Dorothy is considered brash for wearing excessive makeup, drinking, smoking, and otherwise flouting conventional social norms.

Dorothy has recently left her family act and tours alone. She is a media darling and is considered America's top acrobat.
